This new meeting saw the DAEKIN project results presentation by the technological partners of the project, and a round of talks given by the Working Group (WG) companies who shared information about their current situation regarding digitalisation, as well as future projects and initiatives.
The third meeting of the WG on Wind Turbine Data Sharing was held on 20th December at IKERLAN headquarters in Mondragon, with the participation of 13 companies.
In this new meeting, the technology centres Tecnalia, Tekniker and Ikerlan presented the results of the DAEKIN project which chiefly aims at researching the technological breakthroughs required to define the leading architecture for a data sharing platform specifically dedicated to the energy sector.
Finally, the WG companies gave individual talks sharing their current situation in relation to data digitalisation and data analytics, and proposed projects and initiatives where they will be keen to collaborate in this field in the future.
The WG is coordinated by the company Xabet and involves wind turbine component manufacturers, software companies and Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network players.
Its main aim is to provide wind turbine component manufacturers with access to the data required to operate wind farms, so that they can obtain value from them and improve their competitiveness.
