
In this new meeting, the conclusions of the bilateral interviews with component manufacturers, a business model proposal for digitised wind turbine components and a prototype of a digital platform for data analysis were presented.
The second meeting of the Working Group on Wind Turbine Data Sharing was held on 17 September at the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce in Donostia, with the participation of 14 companies.
At this new meeting, Tecnalia presented the outcomes of the bilateral interviews conducted with the component manufacturers of the Working Group, the Basque Energy Cluster presented a business model proposal for 'digitised' wind turbine components, and lastly, XABET presented its prototype digital platform for data analysis developed in the European DOCC-OFF project.
The WG is coordinated by the company Xabet and will involve manufacturers of wind turbine components, software companies and agents of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network.
The main objective of the WG is to provide wind turbine component manufacturers with access to the data required to operate wind farms, so that they can obtain value from them and improve their competitiveness.
